Em's Radiant Relics

Illuminating History with Uranium Glass Treasures

Discover the Glow

Step into a world where vintage elegance meets radioactive charm. Our curated collection of uranium glass pieces captures the unique beauty of Depression-era glassware that glows brilliant green under UV light. Each piece tells a story of a fascinating chapter in glass-making history.

About Uranium Glass

Uranium glass, also known as Vaseline glass, was produced from the 1830s through the mid-20th century. Glassmakers added small amounts of uranium oxide to the glass mixture, creating pieces that glow a brilliant neon green under ultraviolet (blacklight) illumination.

The Magic of UV Light: While uranium glass appears yellow-green in normal light, its true beauty emerges under UV light. We provide blacklights at our booth so you can see these treasures glow!

Despite containing uranium, these pieces are perfectly safe to handle and display. The amount of radiation emitted is minimal and considered harmless for collectors. Each piece in our collection has been carefully selected for its beauty, condition, and historical significance.

Whether you're a seasoned collector or just discovering uranium glass for the first time, Em's Radiant Relics offers a curated selection of these luminous treasures from the past.
